Mr. Nethercut has had extensive management experience during his 20 years of work with government agencies and nonprofit organizations in the United States and abroad. While serving as either an executive director or consultant he has directed organizations and projects in the fields of conservation, public participation, education and refugee services.
In addition to organization and project management, Mr. Nethercut’s work has included strategic and tactical planning, board development, public meeting facilitation, program planning, fundraising, grant writing and training. As Executive Director of the Jefferson Center, he conducted training sessions on public participation strategies and tools for public and private sector agencies.
Mr. Nethercut holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. Outside of the U.S., he has worked in several African nations and in Latin America.
