USAID is the US government agency that administers economic and humanitarian assistance worldwide. As a consortium member led by IBM, ERG is participating in this global microenterprise IQC (indefinite quantity contract) which includes all aspects of the provision of financial services (enterprise credit, savings, insurance, etc.) to microenterpreneurs and poor households worldwide, including the legal and regulatory environment for microfinance. In addition, the objective of AMAP is to increase the capacity of financial intermediaries to serve microenterprises and to expand the dissemination of "best practices" in the microfinance field.
