Mr. Skinner draws from a broad and rich background in organizational psychology and small business development. His specialty is building collaborative support for organizational change. "Successful and lasting change requires attention to the underlying relationships and ways of doing things that make each organization unique." He works from inside the organization by developing trust, coaching individuals, establishing effective meeting practices, facilitating group decision making process, and using technology-based solutions for bringing together geographically dispersed communities.
As a consultant, he has functioned as the primary on-site liaison to the State of California Division of the State Architect. In this role, he has provided services in strategic planning and project implementation planning to design a state-wide, innovative, issue resolution process resulting in increased customer satisfaction and more responsive, uniform internal operations. For Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), Mr. Skinner planned and implemented a survey of 23,000 employees, and developed project plans for budget, timeline, survey instrument design, communication, administration and distribution plans, and continuous improvement.
